Acceptable Use Policy

Template notice. This document is an operator-authored template. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and must be reviewed and adapted by qualified legal counsel in the relevant jurisdiction before Kairostamp accepts real-money payments.

1. Permitted use

Kairostamp may be used to record the state of public web pages that you are lawfully permitted to retrieve, for purposes such as change monitoring, compliance records, dispute evidence, and agent workflows.

2. Prohibited targets

  • Private, internal, loopback, link-local or cloud metadata addresses (also blocked technically).
  • Systems you are not authorised to access, or content behind authentication, paywalls or session cookies.
  • Endpoints where a request itself causes a side effect, such as purchases, form submissions or state changes.
  • Targets whose terms of use, robots directives or applicable law prohibit automated retrieval.
  • Child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content unlawful to possess or transmit.
  • Material whose retrieval would breach export controls, sanctions or classified-information rules.

3. Prohibited behaviour

  • Denial-of-service, stress testing, or high-volume scraping through the Service against a third party.
  • Circumventing rate limits, safety checks, payment settlement, or the audit chain.
  • Probing the operator's internal endpoints or attempting to obtain secrets or privileged data.
  • Presenting a receipt as certified, notarised or legally verified evidence.
  • Altering, forging or misrepresenting a receipt or its hash-chain values.
  • Harassment, stalking, unlawful surveillance, or building profiles of individuals.

4. Volume and fairness

Requests are rate limited. Do not distribute traffic across identities to evade limits. For higher volume, contact the operator at support@kairostamp.com first.

5. Enforcement

The operator may refuse, throttle, block or discontinue service to a payer address or network source that appears to breach this policy, with or without notice, and may report conduct to authorities where required by law. Blocking is a technical control, not a judgment about you.

6. Reporting

Report abuse, or request removal of a captured page you control, at support@kairostamp.com. Security vulnerability reports are welcome at the same address; please do not test against live payment flows.
